Heatseeker
Wii
Remember that scene in Unforgiven where Clint can't hit squat with his six shooter so switches for a shotgun instead? If he had the choice, he'd probably have loaded up with heatseeker missiles and gone all Nintendo on the bad guys.
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360
Even for a video game based on a movie based on a comic -- which got a pretty brutal run through the movie/game wringer the last time around, you'll recall -- Rise of the Silver Surfer is stony ground. The good news: there's an okay story (for a while). The bad news: just about everything else, frankly.
Pokemon takes Wii online
Nintendo DS, Wii
Doling out features in a patient, measured manner is one of the smartest things Nintendo is doing with Wii. It's always been an online console, but the potential has been rather couched... until now. With Pokemon, no less. Pokemon online. Sales charts, here we come.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Wii
Sad truth: Movie-based games tend to sell well regardless of critics' opinion. So, if you're looking for gaming goodness based on the latest Bruckheimer blockbuster, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, run out and buy Pirate's of the Caribbean: At World's End for Wii (or PlayStation3 or Xbox 360, for that matter).
Mario Party 8
Wii
Part of the enduring success of Nintendo's Mario Party series its enduring proximation of the paradox of eternal novelty. Eighth time is not exactly novel, but it gets the job done. Its eternalness, meanwhile, cannot be denied.
Shrek the Third
PlayStation 2, Wii, Xbox 360
Based on the movie of the same name, Shrek the Third for PlayStation2, Wii, and Xbox 360 doesn't have to work too hard to be as good as the movie because the movie wasn't particularly good in the first place.
Ubisoft to expanded casual games line
Nintendo DS, Wii
Ubisoft just announced that the company can see which way the wind is blowing and will start developing more casual games.
Nintendo the first choice of Canadian gamers
Nintendo DS, Wii
According to the latest data from the NPD Group, Nintendo holds down several #1 positions in sales, which Nintendo touts as "unprecedented demand" for Wii and Nintendo DS hardware as well as first-party software for that hardware.
Spider-Man 3
Wii
Have spinnerets, will sling. About the only thing Spider-Man 3 for Wii has going for it is the way-cool web slinging action provide by the Wii-mote controller. Other than that, though coming from a different development studio than the underachieving PS2 and X360 versions of the game, this one seems to suffer similar problems just the same.
